Brough Superior 'The Rolls-Royce of motor cycles'

Rolls-Royce cars have always been acclaimed for their quiet and smooth performance. This is perhaps what encouraged the Rolls-Royce analogy - that and the superb quality standards.

Bough Superior cut out much of the usual noise created by poppet valves and tappets and, with a good silencing system, created the impression of a quiet giant.

Highly tuned 'Pendine' version of the SS100
Brough Superior are amazing machines and very rare too with only about three thousand machines produced. On 27 April 2008, at the Stafford Motorcycle show, the auctioneers Bonhams sold a 1934 Brough Superior SS100 for £166,500!

Of course the bikes were also made famous by Lawrence of Arabia who unfortunately died riding the bikes he loved.
